Our goal
This website is designed to simplify colocation leasing. It enables non-technical, free, and quick searching to reduce the amount of time and money businesses spend finding suitable colocation options.
This service is being published as the first phase of a larger effort to expedite and elucidate the colocation leasing process. Please send any feedback to luke@elucidc.com. Any information would be very useful and greatly appreciated.
How it works
You either detail your needs in our form, or chat with our AI agent, Lucius, to determine your (potential) needs. With this information, we recommend facilities that seem to provide the services you require.
After receiving recommendations, you can click send request-for-quote (RFQ) drafts to forward your needs to our team. We’ll contact you to confirm your needs and wishes, begin digging around, and then request, gather, and negotiate provider quotes on your behalf.
The data and Lucius
The catalog is built from PeeringDB, OpenStreetMap and Wikidata, enriched with researched, source-cited facility data. Many data gaps exist because coverage is uneven, and we’re open about this. We say which data is unverified or missing on each facility card.
The actual pricing, capacity, and terms only come from provider quotes. As explained above, we coordinate with the matched providers on your behalf. No obligation is required at any point, many people just use the shortlist for their own research.
If you would like to claim or list your facility, please contact luke@elucidc.com. This would improve the site and provide visibility to your facility.
Eventually, if providers are willing to share and update live capacity and pricing data - which could live on a backend and remain private - colo resource searching and matching could become extremely accurate, fast, and nearly automated. Of course, this vision is currently distant, so many manual procedures remain essential. We are still doing our best to streamline this process with the limited publicly available data.
Your information
Your email is used to keep your session and to include you on any quote requests you choose to send. Your colocation requirements are shared with providers only after you tick the consent box.
